I think this picture speaks for itself: Three XIVs. Three cities. Three way iSCSI.
All the mirror connections were created in seconds using drag and drop in the XIV GUI.
I can now take a volume in one city and mirror it to another.
And yes…. IBM Australia now has a demo XIV in each of three major cities, so why not drop by and have a look?

So, is that one of the New Gen3 units ?
All of the machines in our demo pool are Gen2. The Gen3 machines are not announced yet.
I found that connectivity status on xiv gui doesn’t update dynamically even if hba is offline or during server reboot etc !!
Have u noticed this before ? Do we have any new GUI code that will fix it !!
Hi Lakshmanan. If your XIV is on 10.2.4, 10.2.4 or 10.2.4b then this is a known issue and is not a bug in the GUI itself, but in the reporting mechanism that populates the GUI. You can confirm this by running the fc_connectivity_list XCLI command. The next firmware release for XIV will contain the fix.
Thanks…How long will you be in Singapore ?
Flying out on Friday evening.
